The product passes through the inner pipe. The heating or cooling medium is passed through the outer pipe. As many tubes as required can be switched in series. The reversals can be either welded or flanged as required.

Where there are high temperature differences, the outer tubes will be equipped with a expansion bellow to facilitate expansion compensation.

This model is generally used for highly viscous products.
